Your Dorset. Your Police. Your View
Dorset Police want to hear your views on how you think police resources should be allocated across Dorset.
This is your opportunity to show us what matters to you. What decisions would you make if you had control over policing in your area?
We have deliberately kept each stage short in order to not take up too much of your time. It will take around 5 minutes from reading this to completing the priority setter.
This priority setter allows you to have your say on how you think police resources should be allocated.
It is also intended to provide you with a first-hand experience of the challenges faced by the police, when having to ensure our resources are allocated fairly and efficiently across all areas of policing and across the county.
Dorset Police want to know what is most important to you, so it can plan to best meet your needs and continue to keep you safe.
You will be given four points which you will need to allocate to the services which you prioritise the most. To allocate any further points, you will need to reduce services in other areas.
The sliders for each question can be given a maximum of two additional points or be reduced by a maximum of two points. Please remember to go through both the high harm crime and the neighbourhood and rural policing sections.
After making all your choices the review section will explain the outcomes of your decisions, giving you a chance to adjust if needs be.
If you would like to have this priority setter in another language please click here to email us and we will endeavour to respond.
Thank you for taking part.
This simulator will run from October 2019 to December 2019
